It has been an honor to serve as the State Representative for Ohio's 20th District. As a member of the Ohio House I have worked hard to create jobs, to invest in education, to restore fiscal responsibility and government accountability and to protect middle-class Ohioans in a tough national economy. We have made significant strides to improve the lives of Ohio's citizens. We have:

• Voted to put an amendment on the May ballot to renew the Third Frontier which created over 40,000 new jobs and will fund "innovation centers" at state universities, and invest in start up companies that are involved in high tech, biomedical and alternative energy
• Fixed the educational funding system that was unconstitutional and have begun the educational reform needed to prepare Ohio students for the 21st century
• Expanded health care to more Ohio citizens
• Passed legislation to require insurance companies to cover treatment of Autism-Spectrum Disorders
• Increased efforts to improve efficiency in state government
• Reduced state spending and the deficit while protecting vital services and not raising taxes

More work remains to be done and more progress must be made, particularly in our quest to stimulate job creation and stabilize the economy in these rough economic times. Therefore, I am asking for your support in my reelection campaign.

I consider myself to be "The Listening Legislator" and have held numerous town hall meetings, coffees, and community meetings to hear the concerns of the citizens of the 20th District. I will continue to do so this year and I hope you will join me at one of these events to share your concerns with me.

I will continue to work on behalf of constituents of the 20th District by working to bring businesses and jobs to the 20th District to put Ohioans back to work and by investing in education so that Franklin County and Ohio will continue to grow.
